Rules of accreditation of journalists for the International Competition of young performers of popular music "New Wave 2025"
The accreditation of journalists for the International Competition of Young Performers of Popular Music "New Wave 2025" ends on August 4, 2025.
1. The accreditation of journalists for the International Competition of Young Performers of Popular Music "New Wave 2025" (hereinafter referred to as the "Competition") is carried out in order to create the necessary conditions for journalists to carry out professional activities in covering the Competition.
2. Journalists of mass media (hereinafter referred to as the media) officially registered in the territory of the Russian Federation in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation on mass media have the right to be accredited at the Competition.
Foreign media outlets are also entitled to apply for accreditation of journalists in Russian and English. The application will be reviewed by the Organizing Committee, and the media will receive an email response.
3. Only full-time media employees are eligible for accreditation.4. Accreditation is provided to journalists for the duration of the Competition.
5. The Organizing Committee of the Contest has the right to involve organizations for processing documents related to media accreditation.7. The application for accreditation is submitted to the General Director of the Competition, A.V. Rumyantsev, in electronic form at dashabelozerova@yandex.ru (Daria Belozerova, federal and foreign media) and to media.info@dspkazan.com (Gulnara Mubarakshina, Republican media).
Russian Russian 8. The application must be submitted on the official letterhead of the media in Russian (or in Russian and the language of the represented country), signed by the head and stamped.
9. The following documents must be attached to the application for accreditation of journalists:
- copies of broadcasting licenses (for electronic media);
- a copy of the media registration certificate;
- a 3.5 x 4 cm color photograph in electronic form.
10. The following information must be provided in the application for accreditation:
- about the editorial office: full name of the media, information about the founders or publishers, last name, first name, patronymic of the editor-in-chief (the person heading the editorial office of the media), statutory tasks, circulation, frequency, broadcast time, number of unique users (for online media), location, distribution region, postal address (with zip code), work phone numbers, e-mail address; estimated volume of publications/reports about the competition.
- about the journalist: last name, first name, patronymic, official or permanent pseudonym, position, phone numbers, passport data (series, number, when and by whom issued), citizenship, date and place of birth, place of permanent registration.
- if the accredited media has previously covered previous Contests, it is necessary to provide examples of the main publications/TV stories, etc.
11. Accredited journalists are allowed to enter the Competition upon presentation of a badge issued by the Organizing Committee on the basis of a confirmed application.12. In order to issue and receive a badge (special pass), a journalist must present in writing an official identification card of the media editorial office, as well as photos and personal data (indicated in Latin letters) in accordance with the terms of the Accreditation Center.
13. The transfer of a special pass (badge) to another person is prohibited.
14. Media editorial offices may submit applications for accreditation of journalists within the following quotas:
- periodicals — no more than 2 journalists;
- TV companies — no more than 3 employees (including operators and TJK technicians);
- from the radio company — 1 correspondent;
- from the news agency — 1 correspondent
- there are 2 correspondents from the online edition.
15. Accredited journalists have the right to:
- participate in press conferences, briefings, attend events organized and held within the framework of the Competition, to which they are invited in advance by the staff of the Organizing Committee and the Press Service of the Competition, with the exception of closed events;
- receive press releases, information and reference materials related to the Contest and intended for distribution to the media;
- conduct audio, video, and photography of outdoor events;
- contact the Organizing Committee and the Press Service of the Contest for assistance in organizing and receiving interviews, comments, etc.
16. Journalists accredited at the Competition are required to:
- not to interfere in the order of the Contest events (interference is understood as: oral statements or actions aimed at attracting the attention of those present or interrupting/disrupting the course of the event; taking photos and videos that interfere with the course of the event, as well as other actions that hinder the holding of an event where an accredited journalist is present while performing professional duties as a media representative);
- leave the venue of the event or meeting when the "protocol recording" mode of operation is established after the set time;
- to respect the rights and legitimate interests of the participants and guests of the Competition, the staff of the Organizing Committee, in carrying out their professional activities;
- submit to the Organizing Committee publications/electronic links related to the coverage of the Contest – announcements and post-materials.
17. The organizer of the Contest has the right to refuse the accreditation of journalists for the following reasons:
- the documents submitted by the applicant (the media or the journalist) for registration of accreditation contain information that does not correspond to reality;
- by the nature of its activity, the media is a specialized publication (advertising, industrial, reference, erotic, etc.);
- during media coverage of previous Contests, information was disseminated that did not correspond to reality, or discredited the honor and dignity, business reputation of the Organizer, participants of the Contest, invited guests, artists, etc.;
- for other reasons at the discretion of the Organizing Committee of the Competition.
18. A journalist may be deprived of accreditation on the following grounds:
- violation of the requirements of these Regulations by a journalist or a media editorial office;
- dissemination by a journalist of information that does not correspond to reality or discredits the honor and dignity, business reputation of the Organizer, participants of the Contest, invited guests, artists, etc.
19. The accreditation of a journalist is terminated in the following cases:
- termination of the media (closure), which it represents;
- making a decision by the media management to suspend a journalist from covering the Contest;
- the dismissal of a journalist from the media, at whose request he was accredited, about which the editorial staff of the media is obliged to inform the Organizer of the Competition within two days.
20. The decision to revoke the accreditation of a journalist is brought to the attention of the head of the media in writing. In each of the above cases, the media representative's badge must be returned to the Organizing Committee of the Contest.
21. The amount of the quota of journalists accredited at the expense of the Organizing Committee of the Contest is determined by the Organizer independently.
